Rack & Pinion

The telescoping valve assembly/assemblies shall be manufactured by Latanick Equipment, Inc. Huron, Ohio.  The valve shall be sized to fit the riser pipe and penetrate a minimum of 4”.  The floor stand shall be 3” sch10 stainless steel pipe.  The handwheel shall be 14” diameter anodized aluminum and work in conjunction with a stainless steel shaft, 1” square steel rack, 2” steel pinion gear and (2) sealed anti-friction bearings.  The rack and pinion gear shall allow for 5” of travel per revolution of the handwheel.  The slip tube shall be stainless steel and have a minimum of 1/8” wall thickness.   The companion flange shall be a cast iron with a neoprene gasket.  The telescoping valve shall be guaranteed against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of (1) year.

Rising Stem Screw

The telescoping valve assembly/assemblies shall be manufactured by Latanick Equipment, Inc. Huron, Ohio.  The valve shall be sized to fit the riser pipe and penetrate a minimum of 4”.  The floor stand shall be 3” sch10 stainless steel pipe.  The handwheel shall be 14” diameter anodized aluminum and work in conjunction with a stainless steel 1 ¼”-4 double start acme screw, bronze nut and stainless steel ball thrust bearing.  The screw and nut shall allow for ½” of travel per revolution of the handwheel.  The slip pipe shall be stainless steel and have a minimum of 1/8” wall thickness.  The companion flange shall be cast iron with a neoprene gasket.  The telescoping valve shall be guaranteed against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of (1) year.

Non-rising Stem Screw

Huron, Ohio.  The valve shall be sized to fit the riser pipe and penetrate a minimum of 4”.   The floor stand shall be 3”sch10 stainless steel pipe.  The handwheel shall be 14” diameter anodized aluminum and work in conjunction with a stainless steel 1 ¼”-4 double start acme lifting screw, stainless steel ball thrust bearing, delrin gears and delrin nut.  The screw and nut shall allow for ½” of travel per revolution of the handwheel.  The slip pipe shall be stainless steel and have a minimum of 1/8”wall thickness.  The companion flange shall be cast iron with a neoprene gasket.  The telescoping valve shall be guaranteed against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of (1) year.
